A: The phrase selected trackers might be evaluated either immediately or later when the rule runs. The rule for current value applies just to values, not to one or more trackers.

You need another rule to extend the idea. A minimal rule is

define currently-selected tracker means selected tracker marked

`PreEvaluate`.

The currently-selected tracker will be taken very literally and can only ever match in the current scene, so if you wanted something more permanently useful you'd need to look at trackers with the currently selected tracker's name. There's a lot of potential utility and pitfalls in this area; we haven't developed the concept to its limits.
